The film also won the 2013 Austrian Film Awards for Producer, Director and Best Actress (Margarete Tiesel).<br><br>Seidl’s characteristic style is drama in a deliberately impartial manner of pseudo-documentaryism.<br><br>Seidl is married to journalist Veronica Franz (b. 1965), who appeared in all of his later films as a co-writer and cast picker. In 2014, the horror film I See, I See, directed by Veronica Franz and Ulrich Seidl’s nephew Severin Fiala, was shown at the Venice Film Festival. Ulrich Seidl and Veronica Franz have two children. The family lives in Vienna.<br>
