      <br><br>Yuzhny – a working village in the Nagaybaksky district of the region of Russia.<br><br>Population – 1694 people. (2020)<br>Geography<br>The is located at the confluence of the river. Kyzyl-Chilik and Temir-Zingeyka, 20 km from the village. Fershampenoise, 90 km from Magnitogorsk, the nearest railway station Dzhabyk is 48 km away.<br>Story<br>The Yuzhny settlement arose in 1947 from the Asatafyevsky site (since 1949 the „Khrustal» site, since 1952 the temporary settlement of geologists and miners „Krasnaya Gorka») of the rock crystal deposit. as a working village in 1961. In 1979, the population of the village of Berezki, which was part of the council, was relocated to the settlement.
